Edentiti joins the Respect Network as a Verification Partner

Edentiti is proud to announce that it has joined the Respect Network as a Verification Partner. "The Respect Network is a decentralized multi-provider network that enables individuals to choose a trusted service provider to enable them to more easily, safely, and profitably share their personal data online, just like they can choose a bank to exchange money," said Respect Network Managing Director Drummond Reed.

Vix Invests In Edentiti

Vix Technology, a global provider of payments, telecommunications and mobility services has acquired a 37% shareholding in Edentiti in a move to bolster its data services portfolio.

Vix spokesperson, Dr Allan Sullivan commented on the investment saying "We are excited to grow our links with Edentiti. The Edentiti service combined with the offers of our other businesses within the group, notably Mastersoft, will allow us to provide the ultimate bundle in customer data services."

Founder of Edentiti, Dr Kevin Cox is also excited about the prospects of the new investment saying "Having the backing of a group like Vix will allow us to not only bundle our services with other members of the group but also look at global opportunities that were previously inaccessible."

Edentiti wins Novay Digital Identity Award!

Edentiti has received some fantastic news this morning! We're proud to announce that we have won the Identity.Next'11 conference's Novay Digital Identity Award for the best new concept or product in the field of digital identity. This award was presented to us via Skype from the conference in The Hague, Netherlands.

The competition was world class, which makes this even more of an honour for us. Here are some snippets from the press release:

"What the jury found particularly appealing about Edentiti is the efficient and innovative manner in which they rely on existing online identities that a user has, and use these as a basis for identity proofing for new online services."

"Hermen van der Lugt, director of research institute Novay and chairman of the jury: 'It is easier for end-users and less expensive for online businesses than traditional face-to-face identity verification approaches.
